Suggest Treatment For Cut On The Head Caused By A Fall

Hi,

My 10 year old girl jumped off of 3 steps yesterday and hit her head on a low ceiling. She has about a 1 inch cut on the top of her head. She cried for a bit, but seemed fine otherwise. No loss of consciousness, vomiting or anything. Should I be concerned? I kept her home from school today.

No worries . But the cut should be closed ( stitched ) to avoid infection & mal union of the wound .She has to recieve tetanus vaccine if she s not immune .
To be observed for 24 hs for any flag signs ( vomiting , loss of consciousness , seizures ,,,,), if any happened >> Emergency Room . Thanks
