Suggest Treatment For Delayed Menstraution

Hi Doc, I went to a Gynae due to my irregular periods & also interest in having a baby, he prescribed triphasil birth control pills two times with no luck of getting my menstruation. I felt a pain in my lower left abdomen & consulted GP this time, he told me I had ovarian cyst but still small & gave me provera & yaz. I finished the medication, still no luck of my periods? Where to go now?Stressed, Precious

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Since you are not responding to the combination pills, it should be checked whether there is any other associated hormone deficiency. The thyroid profile, serum Prolactin and insulin resistance also should be measured and rectified wherever necessary. The fact that you failed to receive a menstrual period even after progesterone intake indicates that you need further investigation at the hands of an expert in infertility.
