Suggest Treatment For Delayed Milestones In A Child

My two year old is not communicating and gets angry and hit when we try to get him to speak in order to get the response from us that he wants. How do we work with him to help him catch up to where he should be at? We just had him tested and though he's 24 months, he tested from 9-13 months on various areas. What do we do to help him progress?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
If such a child comes to my clinic I would like to rule out autism for him. Does he communicate non verbally? How is his socialization?
In my opinion play therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy will be beneficial for him. Kindly consult a developmental and behavioural paediatrician who can do formal assessment for him and guide you regarding the therapy.
I hope I have helped you.
Thank you.
