Suggest Treatment For Depression, Fatigue And Fibromyalgia
I have Fibromyalgia and Asthma. I have the pain, depression, fatigue, disrupted sleep of Fibromyalgia. But I also have Asthma, primarily having only difficulty with breathing and no other symptoms, I must use an inhaler daily. I was wondering if any research has been done to see if there is any association between the two diseases.

Hello,
Although fibromyalgia is not the direct cause or related with asthma but in majority of patients there is shortness of breath which resembles asthmatic symptoms. Treatment of fibromyalgia is adequate rest and good diet with tablet Amitriptyline. It will take 2 to 3 months for adequate response to treatment.
