Suggest Treatment For Diabetes In A 13 Years Old Child

My daughter is 13 and type 1 diabetic. She suddenly started experiencing severe pain above her knee and down to the front/to side of her shin. The pain throbs, is sensitive to touch, and frequently the pain seems shoot through her leg. She cannot put any weight on that leg to walk.
