Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Digestion Problems In Kid

My son is 2 yrs old, and has been having frequent diareah for the past month, and in the diareah you can very clearly see what he has eating, as his body is not digesting his food. Just in the last 3 days he has started to have dark brownish/black tar like stools. He is not gaining or losing any weight. I am trying to get him into a GI specialist now, what could this be?
