Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea With Mucous In Babies
Hi, in the last 7 days my 14 month old has had diarrhoea, very pale beige poo, green poo and now normal poo but with lots of mucus in it. She has also been very windy. I have recent family history of Coeliac disease, Chrons disease and bowel cancer. I am getting very concerned.

Hi, green stools, pale stools with mucous sometimes can be normal or can occur in acute gastroenteritis, stomach infection or worm infestation. I suggest you to do stool routine microscopy test. You can give enterogermina ampule once a day for 3 days. Depending on the report antibiotic needs to be started. Take care.
