My baby is of nine months and is suffering from infectious diarrhoea, Doctor had prescribed me nor-metrogyl and emeset and i have given him one day dose but seems that there is no improvement in his condition . Is it safe to continue this medicine or what else i can give him?
Respected User, hi I evaluated your query thoroughly. *Continue same medications along with it @ Give plenty of liquids in fractions preferably boiled water, lemon juice, coconut water, rice water, home made juices along with breast feeding. @ Avoid any commercial fluids. @ Keep the anal part clean & dry. @ In our clinic we additionally give Zinc containing preparations with Oral Rehydration Salt for faster recovery. @ Take care he doesn`t put any toys in his mouth that will increase infection level. @ Watch for his Temperature, Playfullness, urine output, skin turgor - if anything seems more unusual consult your ER.
