Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns.
Raised CPK levels are seen in the conditions like
-muscular dystrophies
-myopathies
-myositis and muscular inflammation.
Does your nephew have difficulty in raising up from sitting position and has to climb up in his body?
Exact diagnosis can be given only after clinical examination. And whether it is curable or not also depends on the condition.
I hope I have helped you.
Thank you
