Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Walking That Prevails Even After Knee Replacement
I am 56 years old, female, have had both knees replaced, completed physical therapy twice but still have trouble walking. I have to use a four legged cane because of pain and balance trouble. Both feet turn in like a C and I have trouble finding shoes I can wear. Have taken Vicodin every since knee replacements - Right knee 8 years ago and L knee replaced 4 years ago.
Seems to be related to osteoporosis issue with lower limb bone deformity as bowing or else. Kindly get a latest x-ray of the both legs with knee, ankles and feet and get the x-ray plates of both sides be assessed for final comments about possible treatment aspects.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
