Suggest Treatment For Diffused Subcutaneous Edema Of The Ankle

my x-ray results said that they found these problems with my ankle: nonspecific diffuse subcutaneous edema of the ankle and slight osteophyte formation at the ankle and hindfoot. I have had this problem for at least 3 years now and cant seem to get relief no matter what I do, what is the best option I have to be able to walk properly

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are having osteoarthritis of ankle joint as it shows osteophytes. Treatment of it is Diacerine, glucosamine and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Elevation of limb on pillow during resting period is helpful in reducing swelling. You can also get your vitamin D3 tested. If it is low it can be supplemented. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. You can also write to me directly on below link:
