Suggest Treatment For Disc Protrusion

I am a female with first time diagonised with disc protrusion in l5 s1. I am 47years old and otherwise healthy I am experiencing quite a apin in my left leg and thigh . Doc has suggested one week of bed rest alongwith Disperzyme, MEPR and Kineto capsules

Hi,

As first-line management, you can take drugs like gabapentin for pain relief. Steroid injection is also useful.
In severe cases surgical correction may be required.
