Suggest Treatment For Discomfort Under The Rib Cage

Discomfort beneath rib-cage (stomache?)For the last 5 days, I've had discomfort beneath my rib-cage (directly below the center of the rib-cage)

It almost feels like my tummy is about to let off a huge grumble, as it would do when I?m hungry, but nothing comes of it.
It doesn't hurt as such, but is a constant discomfort. I've pushed, prodded and poked it - No pain, no movement.

What could be affected in this area? What could it be? Gas? Indigestion of some kind?
I've taken Gaviscon tablets and ibuprofen with no luck.

I hope someone understands my symptoms.
