Suggest Treatment For Diverticulosis Of Sigmoid And Descending Colon
i had loose motions 45 days back. doctor prescribed combination of norflox and tinidazole for 5 days. loose motions stopped. after a week again loose motion started. CT scan done and found Diverticulosis of sigmoid and descending colon with resultant mild bowel wall thickening. took RIFAGUT 500 mg 2 weeks. Endoscopy done and found CLO test positive. Took Livofloxacin + Clarithromicin 1 week. Feeling batter. Doctor suggesting Colonoscopy. what to do ?

Yes you should do colonoscopy to see the degree of diverticulosis and extent of it. It may cause significant problems in future and if there will be frequent attacks of diverticulitis you should definitely consider surgical resection of involved part of colon.
