Suggest Treatment For Dizziness After Intake Of Sugar And Cola

Hi, What is the best way to give up cola and sugar intake? I currently drink 8 cans of cola a day and whatever sugar the junk food has. The most worrying symptom I have is that when I change my head position fast I lose equilibrium. I am male, short, borderline obese at 32 years of age. Should I just stop abruptly or dial down the amount? Whats the safest way for my body?

Hello,

Carbonated drinks may cause sudden elevation of blood sugar may lead to giddiness or in some patients cold beverages may induce cold syncope may lead to giddiness.

Also, check for cardiac, vestibular or neurological causes of giddiness.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Get it done blood pressure, blood sugar examination, ECG, echocardiogram.

Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
