Suggest Treatment For Dizziness, headache And Sore Throat

My daughter age 5 is feeling dizzy, headache, sore throat, complaining that her tummy feels silly. Her temparature his risen to 38 degrees, but it has lowered since to 37.7, now 37.4 only in the past hour. She was sick a couple of days ago. She has been off her food. She has no rash. I am taking her to Drs tomorrow, but just wanted to know what you think.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

This suggests an upper respiratory infection, probably viral only. Just give her paracetamol 3-4 times daily for 3 days. Give plenty of fluids and a soft diet. If fever persists beyond 3 days, or she becomes lethargic and not tolerating feeds, kindly take her to doctor for evaluation and possible antibiotic treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
