Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough And Fever In A Child
Do I need to take my child to the doctor or play it out until further serious symptoms come? He is 4 years old and has been telling me for a couple of days after Thanksgiving that he is tired and sick. He has recently gotten a runny nose and dry cough, which to me sounds like drainage or a tickle bothering him. I think it is allergies, but he is already on Claritin for that. He had a low fever today of 100.4 and then it went back down, letting me know his body is trying to fight it off. He just woke up and threw up all of dinner while sleeping. He seems very thirsty and has been sucking on his hands some. It is a sign to me that his throat may be sore, but he hasn t mentioned that or his ears.
