Hi, This kind of stomach upset is actually dyspepsia means impaired digestion. It could be due to reflux esophagitis, gut ulceration or gastroenteritis or infectious or functional. You may undergo routine blood count, urinalysis, stool examination, abdominal ultrasound and upper GI endoscopy to get diagnosed first. Treatment is mainly symptomatic and depending on the underlying cause if found. You may require PPIs(pantoprazole, rabeprazole etc) or H2 blockers like ranitidine with a prokinetic agent(cisapride, levosulphride). Consult your gastroenterologist for further advice.
