Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection With Green Discharge
Hi, good day, my daughter got ear infection, the doctor gave here ear drops to treat the ear and said if the ear don't get better then we must get antibiotics, which we did,she is using it now for the second day, but now the yellow discharge, is now green, is this normal or is the ear now actually getting worse, please prescribe what to do next?

Hello,
You need to send a swab of the discharge of your daughter ear and send for culture and drug sensitivity. According to the result, we need to start an antibiotic.
Continue giving Candibiotic ear drop in the ear as it contains both antifungal and antibiotic. Keep the ear drug. During bathing, cover the ear with cotton smeared with Vaseline.
