Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Postrate
I am trying to find a urologist that comes to Winnemucca NV (160 miles east of Reno) for my husband. he is 63 with a slightly enlarged prostate and has been told to see a urologist. He had a colonoscopy last year and the doctor checked his prostate and said it look good......but a little enlarged. He is a Type II diabetic on oral med. He is having a problem making a steam when urinating and has to go quite often. His urine is dark yellow and has a strong smell and small amounts when he goes. He has been taking Doxazosin Mesyl 2mg for about a year and it doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

As from your history combination of prostate enlargement and diabetes will cause urinary problems.
depends upon the Increase in the size of prostate urinary incontinence will occur.
as your urine is dark yellow and strong smell indicates the some abnormality in diabetes control.
Check your diabetes is under control.
chronic diabetes patient will have smell in the urine.
i advise to go for a ultrasound to check the status of the prostate and consult the urologist for further treatment and management.
