Suggest Treatment For Epilepsy?
Hi Doc, My 9 yr old son is having epilepsy since 1-april-2014 with no known cause, he is under medication and seizures under control. But his behaviour is totlly out of control especially at school.Teachers are complaining about him misbehaving especially with girls, also writing and learning difficulty has started.Before he was a very good student, has won lots of prizes in all fields, Should I stop his school for time being or go for homeschooling? Whether the behavoiur will be normal once the medication is reduced?PLs help...

You should neither stop his school nor his drugs.
Visit a psychiatrist for evaluation. It can be a epilepsy induced behavioral problem or may be signs of ADHD. Proper treatment with drugs rather than stopping the school is needed.
Also visit his school and talk to his teachers about his behaviour.
