Dear- thanks for using our service. It is important to see a doctor for your cough because it has been 2 weeks since you have this problem. When you cough with phlegm and blood, it could be from the infection or just an irritation of the trachea or bronchii due to the coughing. The esophagus pain that you describe is from coughing and the irritation of the trachea which is in the same area of the esophagus and feels like coming from it. It might be a serious infection that requires antibiotics for few days, so I advise you to have medical evaluation and care,
I hope that my advise has been helpful
