Suggest Treatment For Extreme Fatigue, Painful Joints, Chills And Fever With Cough

My symptoms began with extreme tiredness followed by 24 hours of bone and joint pain, then followed by chills and fever with low lung pain & mostly unproductive cough. Have stabbing headache on left side of head behind & around ear. Have been taking acetemenophen 500 mg every 4 hours.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection. I recommend to use Acetaminophen 500 mg three times day. I also suggest to drink liquids and rest. If the symptoms continue I suggest to do a lung X-ray for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
