Suggest Treatment For Extreme Soreness In The Buttock

I fell this afternoon while ice skating, on my buttocks on the right side. It's extremely sore, and I can't put weight on it. I can't get comfortable in bed. I'm in a fair amount of pain.
I've applied ice on and off all evening, and taken ibuprofin, but seemingly not enough.
I'd appreciate any advice you may have as to how I can treat this. I am inclined to take 3 more ibuprofin, on top of two.
do you think I'll need an xray? We are having a snow storm in Boston and travelling tomorrow will be treacherous.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.Probably you have soft tissue injury and hematoma. Rest, icing and analgesic is its treatment . If ibuprofen doesn't relieve pain then you can take strong analgesic such as tramadol.You can get your x ray to rule out fracture and bony injury.You can discuss with your doctor about it.
