I have been using toba frequeny.I was using ciplox & toba for 2 or 3 months .I had been put on a 15 day course of gatiquin half way through which my chemist told me they were banned in India. My other chough my chemist told me they were banned for 6 months &resumed. My doctor told me to use Gatilox but I fear using banned drugs due to side effects.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having a chronic eye infection. The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops. Gatifloxacin is now not used for oral and systemic use. However there are no issues for topical eye application and you can use it. Since the infection is chronic it is better yo get culture and sensitivity and use antibiotic eye drops accordingly. There is nothing like one month course of antibiotic eye drops, hence it is better yo get second opinion by examination with a ophthalmologist.
Thank you
