Suggest Treatment For Facial,joint And Leg Swelling
Hi I am suffering from facial , joint and leg swelling, as well as macular edema of my right eye which caused blurry vision. I am on bipap for severe obs apnea for one year. Previously I have been on cpap for ten years. I have lost weight, used a chin strap tried an appliance and I still snore. Omar recently in the last year, torn retina, macular edema. I am miserable and I need some direction about maxillo mandibular surgery. I have an overbite and I can feel my throat close. I have been misdiagnosed w igg4 and kidney function kidney and I think I am on to something here. This May sole my problems. Please advise. I am in Columbus ohio
thanks for your query. the swelling in the face and joint could be because of the cellulitis. consult a oral physician and general physician to rule out other causes of oedema in the face. consult an ophthalmologist for the eye problem. for the OSA mandibular repositioning device and the tongue retaining device can be used. These devices open your airway by bringing your lower jaw or your tongue forward during sleep. other surgical modalities can also be done like tonsillectomy but they are associated with complications. take rediographs like lateral cephalogram to see the airway. consult a oral maxillofacial surgeon and ENT surgeon for opinion and needful. i hope my answer will help you take care.
