Siva, Please provide more information. These fat deposits have been evaluated by a physician? Most fat deposits are lipomas and removal is not customary, even if pressing on a nerve. They most generally come back. They tend to be hereditary. I cannot diagnose. If you have seen a physician for these in an office they would probably tell you the same and if removal were thought to benefit, surely the physician would recommend the hospital. From personal experience, removal by an inexperienced surgeon or dermatologist can leave horrible scars (which shouldn't happen). They then will send the lump in for biopsy. Many times if the fat deposit is causing pain and none have been biopsied, doctors may agree to do the surgery. This is a medical question that somehow made it to the nutritionist. I answered the best I could from my background and personal experience. I apologize for not being familiar with the hospitals in India. Thank you for your patience, sir. Kathryn Shattler, MS,RDN
