Suggest Treatment For Fatigue, Fever And Swollen Glands On The Neck

My daughter was diagnosed with street throat and finished her antibiotics about a week ago. She has unusual fatigue and now has had fever from 100 to 102.5. She began swollen glands in her neck. She just woke up,with a raised red welting primarily on her legs and arms. The rash is very itchy. Not sure what is going on.

Hi,

There can be several things happening in the body of your daughter. One she has lymohedenutis which result due to infection, reactive process or blood disease. The rash can cause which may have due to drug reaction or other unsealed hypersensitivity. You need to do full hemogram check for blood level due to fatigue. Low blood volume will give you fatigue. High white blood cells will show bacterial infection. FNA Cytology will give show of there is any abnormal proliferation in the lymph node. Chest X ray to rule out chest infection pneumonia or tuberculosis which is a common cause of neck lymph node enlargement.
