Suggest Treatment For Fever And Cold In Kid
My son has a high fever (since last night) breaking 104 this morning. I have been able to keep it between 101-102 with Acetaminophen suppositories. He hasn t been able to keep much down. He also has red spots on his right shoulder, and a few strays (one on his arm, one on lower back). They resemble pimples. My initial thought was chicken pox, but the doctor could not confirm that. It has been over 24 hours, and the bumps are still there, he has not developed anymore, and they never blistered or got any whiteheads . I have no idea what it is, and I would love to know if my son is contageous.

As per your query your kid have fever and cold along with this some skin lesions which is due to viral infection of the upper respiratory tract. I would suggest you consult pediatrician for proper examination as an infection has already spread. You should get throat swab test, viral culture test, complete blood profile to find out the extent of infection. You should start with antibiotics such as augmentin along with decongestants and anti-inflammatory such as Levocetirizine Give child steam inhalation. Give proper rest, keep yourself hydrated. Maintain hygiene. Take diet rich in multivitamins.
