Suggest Treatment For Fever And Headaches In Child

my 10 yr old has a fever of 103.6 degrees farenheit with no flu symptoms other than a consistant headache (6:06 pm EST) she had temp 101.8 this afternoon w headache & 102.4 this morning with headache when she woke up. Is there cause for medical attention at this point? What should I do? Thank you for your help & immediate response to my concern of my daughters temperature. Appreciatively; Pam

its most likely a case of viral fever and the temperatures and headache are quite common symptoms...
is your kid having bodyache and malaise too?...is appetite decreased?

get to me back with these answers....

for now, give her tab paracetamol 250 1 tab twice daily for 3-5 days...rest for 3 days and small frequent meals will be better for her appetite...

if the fever does not come down in 3 days, you need to do a complete blood count and few other tests for other possibilities....
you can also see a PAEDIATRICIAN in that case...
