Suggest Treatment For Fever And Swollen Nodes On The Neck
I m sorry to be bothering you so late, I m 56 year old women. I ve been feeling really weak and not good for over two weeks. I have a nodule on my thyroid ( the right side of my neck, and smaller on on the left side) started running a fever the last two days 103.2- then today got it broke . It s back, it was only gone for 4 hours. Feeling panicky and tummy hurts, along with bad. And muscles are cramping Really don t feel good. Been trying to sleep but I can t, but very tired
Based on your description, you should consider being assessed by your doctor. Fever, malaise, abdominal pain, muscle cramps, weakness can be due to different illnesses such as: (1) infection- viral or bacterial are more common (2)severe trauma (3)rarely some types of cancer
It would be best to be seen. In addition to a complete history of symptoms, physical examination and blood tests would also be needed as well to determine the cause of your symptoms.
Blood tests may include a complete blood count and ESR (the ESR assesses for inflammation in the body). Any additional bloods would be done based on the symptoms present.
Treatment would depend on the cause found.
I hope this helps
