Suggest Treatment For Fever, Pain In Legs And Stomach

Hi, my 3 year old has a temperature of 40.2 (which has gone back down to 38.3 since giving him Ibuprofen in the last 20 mins) and is complaining that his legs & tummy hurt. He has also asked to go to the bathroom a few times in the last hour to pee but says that peeing does not hurt. He has had a very bad cough for the last few days. I m worried about him & we are due to fly to the UK from Ireland today. Do you think I should cancel & bring him to a doctor? Many Thanks

since you are planning to travel so your worry is genuine
Looking at his symptoms it seems to be case of acute tonsillitis or upper respiratory infection

In my opinion he needs a course of antibiotics to be taken under supervision of your doctor

please give him steam inhalation or nebulisation that will relieve cough
