yes please . i have a doughter who is quarter to three and she had fever last night along with febrile shivers i took her to the docter he gave her disprin less than half also panadol,chloramphenacol and novaquin .is it safe to give disprin to such smalll child for three days at such low dose three times aday
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern in fact at the age of below three such treatment is not at all advisable, if I would be her treating doctor then I would just control the temperature if this was beyond the 100 F because in pediatric age group fever is friend, and this should not be bring down at once, instead the underlying cause need to be treated, here Chloramphenicol is contra indicated in pediatric age group, without the confirm malaria anti malarial can be administered, take care.
