Fibromyalgia, depression, and anxiety can be effectively treated with Amitriptyline or nortriptyline. These are old drugs which in some patients are not well tolerated. If you start at a low dose and very gradually increase it till you find the dose that is effective for you, you may find it very helpful. If you are not well tolerating these drugs, you can try SSRI such as sertraline or citalopram. Psychotherapy may be very beneficial as well, especially if combined with the medications.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
