Suggest Treatment For Fistula That Drains Light Brown Highly Viscous Fluid

After using infliximab for over 36 months I seem to not be gaining further benefit nor maintenance of health. The last year I have developed a rather serious fistula that drains 100-900mls of light brown/yellow highly viscous fluid. Is humera a possible medical option to treat this? Is there another medicine I should query? Or is surgery my only option?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Using Infliximab means you are either suffering from Crohn's or ulcerative colitis and one of the complications of these diseases is fistula formation.
Certainly you will need corrective surgery, may be removal of the disease part, fistula, segment of the diseased intestine and trying for another medications like Humera.
Since such problems are related to the immunity system, it is certainly important to enhance the immunity by way of medications, meditations, change of lifestyle, place and positions.
Acupressure, yoga and such naturotherapy things may also help a lot for getting over the issues.
Consult various Specialists like Rheumatologist, Naturotherapists, Gastroenterologist of medical and surgical sides to get an appropriate evaluation and management.
