Suggest Treatment For Flatulence

my boyfriend has incredibly smelly gas at night to the point I have to go into the other room to sleep . the smell is very think and lingers for hours is there anything he can do to stop this?
he eats fairly well and I have tried to monitor when he eats and what he eats but it makes no difference

Hi there!

- He should avoids foods such as beans, cabbage, broccoli, raisins, lentils, prunes, apples, beacuse they take a long time to digest, leading to an unpleasant smell associated with flatulence. Foods high in fructose or sorbitol, such as fruit juices, can also cause an increase in flatulence.
- I would prescribe simethicone.
- Consult with your doctor if the problem persists.
