Suggest Treatment For Foot Extensor Tendonitis

I think i have Extensor Tendonitis in the foot, ive had it for about 3-4 weeks now ive been icing and elevating and resting alot but still a little bit painful.. I have a big 7 hour football tournament on Saturday and really need to play, is it safe? Should i spend 90 bucks on sports compression socks?

Hi, Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you are having Extensor Tendonitis in the foot. You want to play 7 hour football tournament on Saturday. In my opinion it will not advisable to play the tournament.You need rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
