Suggest Treatment For Fractured Calcaneus Bone

hi i severly fractured my calcaneus bone and destroyed the cartilige on top of it can i claim dla as i really struggle to walk far on it or any other benifits i currently get employment and support allowance i fractured it in january and the specialist said i would get complications with it and would need a bone fusion at a later date thanks tony

If there is severe cartilage damage then cartilage transplant can be done
But success of transplant is not documented in long term study.
Yes fusion remains the option for pain free stable joint.
