Why do I feel like I have an overactive bladder and urinary tract infection when my doctor checked my urine specimen today and said that he sees no bad bacteria or infection in my urine. I urinate frequently! Sometimes I urinate and maybe 2 minutes later; I have to go back to the bathroom and urinate a little more. Most of the time; the 2nd urination is very little. I sometimes feel some sort of pressure in there and even a burning sensation or heat sensation inside my vagina. At times; I just feel lethargic and weak. I had a complete hysterectomy in the year 2006 and I am 63 years old now. My doctor is telling me that there is nothing left to support my bladder now. He said that when my bladder fills up (it s like a balloon that fills up with water and then just hangs). So; now he wants to run some tests to see what s going on (ultra sound and an X-Ray) so that he can know how to treat this disorder. Are you familiar with this type of disorder and how to treat it?
