Suggest Treatment For Gastritis And Heartburn
Hai I m male 30, single i had gas problem and and slight pain and burn like sensation at the chest when i met my Dr he prescribed me to take rabisure and zenpride tablets before brakefast and at night before dinner only rabisure so took and i free. But from last 1day i got slight pain and burn now i had zenpride with me can i take now or not

well i am afraid that your doctor has prescribed you incomplete treatment,its quite apparent that you are suffering from a condition called as APD i.e acid peptic disease, in this condition there occurs increased production and secretion of gastric juices containing acid which in turn can lead to formation of ulcers in the stomach and small intestines..if i were your treating doctor,i would have advised you the following treatment for 3 weeks continously without skipping any dose--
(1) CAPSULE PANTAPRAZOLE once daily before breakfast
(2) TABLET RANITIDINE 2 times a day after meals i.e 1 after breakfast and 1 after dinner
(3) TABLET DOMPERIDONE 10 mg2 times a day after meals
(4) TABLET DICYCLOMINE 3 times a day after meals
(5) SYRUP DIOVOL-LA 4 teaspoons 3 times a day after meals
(6) SYRUP SUCRALFATE 2 teaspoons 3 times a day after meals
i would have also advised you to STRICTLY AVOID SPICY / PROCESSED FOODS / SMOKING /ALCOHOL atleast till 3 weeks and if possible thereafter too
