Suggest Treatment For Gastritis

I believe I am experiencing a gastritis attack. I have had this before. I take protonix regularly. But I have eaten a lot of tomatoes, corn, melons and cucumbers in the past few weeks because they are plentiful and so yummy! Should I eat nothing for 24 hours and just drink water or could I try small meals of BRAT?

Hi thanks for asking question.

You could have simply gastritis or ulcer like condition.

No need for complete stoppage of meal.

Take small meal with frequent interval.

Avoid spicy and fatty in excess.

Green leafy veg meal useful.

Junk food avoided.

Fruits more.

No smoking done.

Cooked oatmeal good for soothing stomach.

Omeprazole for few days can be taken.

I hope your concern is solved.

Take care.
