Suggest Treatment For Goiter And Weight Gain

I have a goiter and my p.a. cut my synthroid from 112 to 100 and since I have been so tired and gain weight. I have had a thyroid test and it came back the 100 was plenty. I was also told that with a goiter the test would not show up accurate. I am confused and still tired and gaining weight. YYYY@YYYY

Sythyroid can be given for Hypothyroidism and for suppressing a goitre.But we should not give in excess.Synthyroid can suppress TSH values.Supressing TSH values usually decreases body weight.But we can't suppress the TSH values more than the desired values.In your case we can keep the TSH value less than 1.00
