Suggest Treatment For Granular Pharyngitis Causing Throat Irritation
My name is asad i live in pakistan . 24 days back i started throat irritation which changes into infection. I consult 2 doctors. One ent specialist and one stomach specialist coz i feel burning in stomach after every meals. Ent said that i have accidity allergy problem. So i take 7 day antibiotic course. No cure. Then i visit stom spec. He gave me 7 days medicn. But problem remains the same. Yesterday i visit a child specialist he checked me and told me that i am suffering from granular pharyngytus. Sir plz tell me that is this disease is cureable. Coz today is 29 day and i am not ok.. asad ali.. age :37.. pakistan

Well the symptoms you mention in you query are pointing towards a conditions like gastric reflux and garanular pharyngitis ( as you also mention in query ) or both . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper checkup . Doctor may order throt swab test , viral culture test or blood test , because granular pharyngitis can occur due to bacterial or viral infection ( in this case anti bacterial drugs will not going to work ) Doctor may prescribe anti viral drugs ( acyclovir ) along with anti inflammatory or refer you to gastroenterologist . For now do betadine gargles and avoid eating spicy and acidic food and beverage .
