Suggest Treatment For Hard Painless Lump On Gums

I have had a hard painless lump on my gum just under my right nostril for over 4 years now. U cannot see the lump but can feel it upon touch, i have had dental and head xrays and both came back clear however recently i have developed a sinus infection causing severe pain in this area when touched and runing into the tooth below causing tooth ache i am getting very worried and any help would be appreciated thank you

Hi, thanks for sharing your health concerns with HCM!

If I were your treating Doctor for this case of painless gum nodule, I would come up with three possibilities, these include:

1.     a pyogenic granuloma; but generally these are painful and bleed when injured!
2.     The second possibility is of a fibroepithelial polyp      
3.     The last possibility is of some benign cyst like peri-odontal cyst or peri-apical cyst     

Overall, it is benign and not worry much about this but also do not neglect this!

I suggest you to maintain oral hygiene and do some FNAC like microscopic test for confirmation!
