Suggest Treatment For Headache, Neck Pain, Right-sided Abdominal Cramps, Fainting Spells And Vertigo
Hello - My father and I both suffer from same symptoms: headache, neck ache, and cramping in right side of abdomen (just a few inches to the right of the navel). It feels as though fecal matter or gas may be moving slowly or stuck there. When it s bad, I break out into a sweat, vomit and get dizziness - even vertigo. I fainted twice. What could be causing that pressure?
My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!
Your symptoms could be related to irritable bowel syndrome. The fainting may be a normal autonomic reaction to the pain and abdominal distention. For this reason, I would recommend performing an abdominal ultrasound and a GI endoscopy, just to be sure that everything is OK. A healthy diet (avoid spicy food, eat more fibers and avoid red meat) is necessary. Hope to have been helpful! Best wishes!
