Suggest Treatment For Hearing Loss After Open Heart Surgery

My daughter underwent open hear surgery at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore in 2005 at the age of 18 months and now she is 7 years old. She developed speech related disorders & problems which was not properly diagonised by us considering the surgery happened to her and the doctors on our repeated consultations & follow up kept assuring us that she will slowly pick the problem.

Very recently we have performed BERA TEST and found that the LEFT EAR was profound and the RIGHT EAR was severe that is below & above 90 decibels of hearing.

The consultant doctor told us that there was no problem with the outer ear and middle ear and the problems exists in the INNER EAR and can be partially rectified by cochlear implant.

Our concern is that unless we specifically find out the problem rests either with the cochlear, corti, vestibular, auditory or brain stem we are not inclined to go further. The reason for that is to have a comprehensive evaluation of both the EARS and decide whether she requires invasive or non invasive procedures are clinically correlated by surgery,

Please guide us.
