Suggest Treatment For Heart Palpitations, increased Pulse And Hyperventilation

Hi my husband has been having a hard time with the heat lately. Well it looks to me like he has been having a panic attack but it is always set off by getting hot. Tonight he took a cold shower after being in the sun today-he freacked out and had hart palpitations, increased pulse, hyperventilating and is taking a long time to recover. We do not have health insurance and I know he will not want to go to the doctor. What should I do?

Hello, Sorry to hear of your husband's attack. It is a very common problem in the general population nowadays.
There are many ways to treat this problem ranging from therapy sessions that are performed by a Psychologist at a session to a use of drugs like benzodiazepines which are not sold over the counter. So he has to visit a psychologist to get the proper care. Warm regards
