Suggest Treatment For Heavy Menstrual Period With Stomach Cramps
Hi.. I m not really sure how this works, but I don t have enough money to pay my co-pay for an unnecessary visit to the doctors office. I am a 20 year old female. Ive always had a very regular period, and I m having a lot of problems with my cycle this months. My period was 8 days late. It started yesterday but it has been a very bright red color, watery, and very heavy. I m having terrible cramps and having to change my pad/tampon every hour. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for 6 months now (not sure if that has anything to do with it, considering all home pregnancy tests have come back negative). Please help me..I m not sure what to do.
Heavy bleeding after 8 days delayed menses is most likely to be due to abortion. In such event, you may pass some white tissue also. Please get your ultrasonography done for confirmation of the diagnosis. If it is incomplete abortion, you may have to undergo evacuation of the uterus.
If it is not related to pregnancy, and there is no other organic pathology detected by ultrasonography, you may take Tab. Deviry for controlling bleeding. Once the bleeding is stopped, you may discontinue the pills after which again some bleeding will restart, however, it would be much less and will stop of its own.
I hope this helps you.
