General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite common after bladder surgery and is due to minor mucosal injuries and blood clots.

In most cases it will settle by itself.
If symptoms persist better to consult a urologist and get evaluated.
In severe cases you might require a cystoscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
