Urologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety.
With blood in urine, stop plavix tablet, immediately and inform your doctor.
You should go to the ER,as painful bleeding is commonly due to infection.
UTI and stone are commonest causes for painful bleeding in urine.
So do the following tests :
1. Urine routine and culture.
2. blood routine,creatinine,LFT,RBS,uric acid,platelets,BT,CT,and PT.
3. Ultrasound scan-KUB,with residual urine.
According to reports, medical treatment will be advised. You can also send all reports to me,as a direct question. Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
